Bone china is made of animal charcoal, clay and quartz by bisque firing with high temperature, then glost firing with low temperature.
The conservation of bone china
1. Hand wash without dishwasher. If you do not want to wash by hand, china or crystal dishwasher is available.
2. The set with golden rim cannot use in the microwave to avoid corrosion.
3. Detergent requires a PH between 11 and 11.5.
4. The temperature of water requires below 80 degree.
5. Do not put hot setting into cold water directly to prevent split.
6. Toothpaste is available to cover scratches.
7. Lemon juice or vinegar is available to wash away tea stains.
8. Do not heat on oven directly.

The tea set is very beautiful and seems to be sturdy enough for every day use. I bought this to use instead of my "good china" and it was just what i was looking for. It was packaged very nice and all the pieces arrived intact. So far, I am very pleased.
